The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has issued a fresh appeal to Kenyans for information on the whereabouts of Collins Jumaisi, the prime suspect in the Mukuru murders.

"The DCI is seeking the public's help in providing information that could assist in the re-arrest of Collins Jumaisi Khalusha...A significant cash reward will be provided to anyone with credible information leading to the suspect's arrest," the DCI statement read in part. 

The suspect, a resident of Shiru Sub-location in Vihiga County, was set to face murder charges in court before his unexpected disappearance. Information on Jumaisi's whereabouts can be reported confidentially via the anonymous #FichuaKwaDCI hotline at 0800-722-203 or through police hotlines 999, 911, and 112. "Additionally, you are welcome to visit any police station within the country. Your support could greatly impact the re-arrest of this wanted suspect. Every piece of information is valuable," the DCI added.
